This new reality imposes an evolution in the hospital management model where the culture of service to the user assumes, more than ever , vital importance for the future of humanization in the health area.
According to the World Economic Forum, skills such as "teamwork", "emotional intelligence", "critical thinking", among others, are fundamental for the future of organizations, where the human and emotional side is increasingly valued (see the chart below).
In this sense, “The Future of Healthcare” intends to be a mark of continuity in the healthcare landscape in Portugal, inspiring the evolution from High Tech to Human Touch, where people and organizations align with a common purpose.

1200 participants, 20 speakers from 4 countries and the Nobel Prize Eric Kandel came together with a single purpose: the humanization of organizations in the digital age.
The conference "The Future of Healthcare" promoted discussion and debate on the humanization of organizations in the digital age, interspersing debate panels with national and international prominent guests with training workshops on current issues in the organizational context. Neuroscience occupied a prominent place at the event, providing a scientific explanation of the path to be followed and the decisions to be taken.
The program of this conference fostered a dynamic sharing among all those who are interested in the future of health in Portugal, promoting knowledge and science, as well as networking moments.
